After doing in depth research on his work, we developed a strategy focusing on inclusivity, evolution and highlight his legacy.
The brand paid homage to Saul Steinberg and his artistry, through a sketched rendition of his profile. Simple yet evocative. It captures his essence and style.
Typography echoes Saul’s line style bold and modern. “LINES AND DECADES” in CondorComp - Bold: reflecting his strength, while “Through the” in CondorComp - Light: evokes his modern approach. Colors celebrate Steinberg’s contributions to the essence of humanity in his work. Primary colors celebrate Steinberg’s contributions, with secondary colors supporting the essence of humanity in his work.
To add to the experience, we developed interactive applications through wall murals, pinpoint circles in the floor mural, logo animation and outdoor projections, some to guide all audience and others to excite the local community to join the exhibit.
The circles denote the specific areas where visitors can interact with each artwork.
This piece originated from the original work “Descent from Paradise: Saul Steinberg’s Italian Years (1933-1941).”
The green lines serve as guides for wheelchair accessibility and as reference points for others.
Floor Mural
“Lines through the Decades” transports visitors into Saul Steinberg’s world, celebrating his diverse art contributions. With immersive displays and accessibility, the exhibit aims for a memorable journey. Soft pastel colors—yellow, dark green, and orange, mirror Steinberg’s creative mood.
