Product Photoshoot

Volunteering | Dave’s Angry Sauce

The photoshoot was done live. Maritza brought different props to the farmers market that she was part of and every other Saturday she chose 2 vendors to take studio photographs of their product. Her goal was to show her fellow vendors how their products can be elevated with strategic studio photoshoots.

Maritza was privileged to be part of this wonderful moment. It was an honor to capture Cynthia’s special day. The sweet 16th - photoshoot was done during the day at two different locations. The first location was at Seaside Park, Bridgeport, CT 06604 and second location was at St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport, CT. Sign and balloon decoration were created as well.

In class, Maritza and her fellow classmates were asked to choose a product and create a label. The process included coming out with slogans, illustrations, mock ups, page layout and 3D rendering. Maritza even included a promotional video.

In 2019, during Steam Fest, Maritza was part of this incredible collaborative project. Maritza was in charged of designing TV advertisement and social media graphics for the event which was based on the main flyer created by Michael Wasik, Graphic Design Specialist at HCC - Marketing Department.

In this piece, Maritza was asked to create a piece that represented her identity. She selected items from her household as still life compositions and Maritza was able to represent her identity as an artist and human being.

Client | Roxy & Sons LLC

Roxy & Sons is a cleaning company based in Bridgeport, CT. They owned a logo but were not satisfied with what they had, therefore, they turned to Maritza’s expertise. She re-designed the logo and little by little she became their graphic design specialist. Since then, Maritza has created their business cards and clothing advertisement such as shirts, masks and jackets.

Who is she? …

Maritza Quintuna is a graphic designer and photographer with an infinite passion for the arts. She is based in Connecticut since 2017. Maritza was born in New York but raised in Cuenca, Ecuador where she got to see the world from a different point of view.

Her artistic goal is to help others embrace who they are by understanding them and providing support. Her inspiration starts from her dad, nature and community.

Maritza is a woman full of ideas. Sometimes she can get carried away.

What makes her special is her free-spirited personality. She is genuine and strong. The unique nature of her free spirit drives her to continuously grow. She knows she is not perfect, but believes in growth.

  • Maritza can work on multiple tasks and balance the projects concurrently. Her strong human relations skills enabled her to interface very effectively with many different departments, including admissions, financial aid and others. Maritza’s strong verbal and written communications skills allowed her to complete projects that were precise and rarely needed tweaking. Maritza is a naturally upbeat person who loves to help and encourage others; she has consistently demonstrated a solid service orientation toward our clients.
